Corey Crawford’s play has been relatively solid lately. The defense in front of him has still been shaky at times. This is not a good combination then the team you are facing is heavily armed with firepower. One man can not keep them at bay the entire game. It would be a benefit to both Crawford and Emery if the offense would pick up their production.
Corey Crawford: 18W, 11L, 96 GA, 2.88 GAA, SV% .902, Minutes 1999
Ray Emery: 10W, 3L, 42 GA, 2.57 GAA, SV% .907, Minutes 932
Fantasy Impacts
The production out of the top 6 players has stalled, there really is no other way to describe it. Only Marian Hossa still appears to have upward movement in the scoring department. Last week I said that I would consider sitting Patrick Kane for a week. That is no longer the case as he will be given the chance to shoulder a significant amount of the offensive workload. Some potential free agents to look out for are Andrew Shaw, Dave Bouland, and Andrew Brunette. A couple weeks back I mentioned that you should keep an eye out for Viktor Stalberg and if he was available to pick him, well in looking at various leagues his ownership went up and average of 15%. I think that he and Andrew Shaw will start trending up given the slack they will be asked to pick up with Sharp and Towes out with injuries.
Marian Hossa Goals: 20 Assists: 32 Points: 52

Patrick Sharp Goals: 20 Assists: 20 Points: 40
Viktor Stalberg Goals: 14 Assists: 15 Points: 9
Duncan Keith Goals: 3 Assists: 24 Points: 27
