DSE Fantasy MMA Pick ‘Em Leagues

Another fight card and another season of Fantasy MMA Pick ‘Em begins for the 2013 MMA season. Congratulations to David Wood, who won the 2012-2013 Fantasy MMA season, taking the decision from Dwayne in the finals giving him his 2nd championship in the last 3 years! Welcome to all of our new Fantasy MMA Pick ‘Em league members! Put your jock strap on and get ready to rumble this MMA season with UFC!

A quick overview of the season: The MMA regular season will consist of us picking at least 12 UFC fight cards. The winner of the MMA regular season will get a 1st round bye into the playoffs. Each card, Casey and Stacey will send out the details of that upcoming UFC card and the time your UFC picks are due to us. Half of the league will make it into the fantasy MMA playoffs. Ties in standings are broken by number of overall correct fight decisions & correct fight endings (meaning you got the fighter & decision correct).

Fantasy MMA Scoring: We pick the entire fight card for the UFC event. Each win is worth 5 points. There is an additional 10 points for the correct description of victory. The high score for the UFC event receives an additional 10 points. The options for methods of victory are: Majority Decision, Split Decision, Unanimous Decision, Submission, TKO, KO, DQ, Draw or No Contest. Ex: GSP TKO; if GSP wins by TKO then you would net 15 points; if he won by anything other than TKO you’d get just 5 points and if he lost then you’d get 0 points.
