Tuesday, March 4th

Canadiens get

Panthers get

Mike Weaver (D)

5th Round Pick (2015)

Fantasy impact: None.

Wild get

Oilers get

Ilya Bryzgalov (G)

4th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Limited fantasy value for Bryzgalov, who will back up Darcy Kuemper in Minnesota.

Capitals get

Ducks get

Dustin Penner (F)

4th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Lower value for Penner, playing on a team with less scoring options to help him pick up points..

Oilers get

Ducks get

Viktor Fasth (G)

5th Round Pick (2015)

3rd Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Limited fantasy value for Fasth, who will back up Ben Scrivens in Edmonton.

Ducks get

Stars get

Stephane Robidas (D)

4th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Limited fantasy impact. This is a pick up that will benefit the Ducks come playoff time. Robidas is expected to return from his broken leg in late March.

Flyers get

Islanders get

Andrew MacDonald (D)

Matt Mangene (F)

3rd Round Pick (2014)

2nd Round Pick (2015)

Fantasy Impact: The Islanders will give up more goals, the Flyers will give up just as many goals. The real value for the Islanders is in the 2 picks they pick up. Mangene is an Undrafted Free Agent who has 17 points and 40 PIMs in 92 career AHL games.

Panthers get

Canucks get

Roberto Luongo (G)

Jacob Markstrom (G)

Steven Anthony (F) Shawn Matthias (F)

Click here for Rapid Reaction from the DSE team.

Blackhawks get

Coyotes get

David Rundblad (D)

2nd Round Pick (2014)

 Mathieu Brisebois (D)

Fantasy Impact: None in Redraft leagues. Rundblad may have some eventual value in Dynasty leagues – he was a heralded 17th overall pick and was the only player the Coyotes got back for Kyle Turris. Rundblad has 9 points in just 50 career NHL games, but at 23 he’s still young for a defenseman. Brisebois is an undrafted free agent in his first AHL season.

Capitals get

Coyotes get

Rostislav Klesla (D)

Martin Erat (F)

 Chris Brown (F)

John Mitchell (F)

 4th Round Pick (2015)

Fantasy Impact: Minimal. Hope for any poor soul that owns Erat that he’ll start scoring again into nets that have goalies in them. Klesla has never had much fantasy value, and reports are that he and Brown will both head to the AHL. Mitchell has zero fantasy value and is an AHLer with an expiring contract.

Wednesday, March 5th

Rangers get

Lighning get

Martin St. Louis (F)

Ryan Callahan (F)

1st Round Pick (2015)

 2nd Round Pick (2014)

Click here for Rapid Reaction from the DSE team.

Senators get

Oilers get

Ales Hemsky (F)

3rd Round Pick (2015)

5th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy impact: Hemsky might get some better looks at the net and a little more ice time with the Senators.

Canadiens get

Predators get

Devan Dubnyk (G)

Future Considerations

Fantasy Impact: None unless Carey Price and Peter Budaj both get hurt.

Kings get

Sabres get

Brayden McNabb (D)

Hudson Fasching (F)

Jonathan Parker (F)

Nic Deslauriers (F/D)

2nd Round Pick (2014)

2nd Round Pick (2015)

Fantasy Impact: None. McNabb is a younger D-man who has spent most of the season in the AHL. Fasching and Deslauriers are both prospects and time will tell if they will make any impact at the pro level.

Kings get

Blue Jackets get

Marian Gaborik (F)

Matt Frattin (F)

2nd Round Pick (2014 or 2015)

 3rd Round Pick

Fantasy Impact: Gaborik should get good looks and help the Kings with some much needed scoring. A boost to his return from IR for owners.

Penguins get

Panthers get

Marcel Goc (F)

3rd Round Pick (2015)

5th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Goc will benefit from playing on a better team, but may not see as many minutes.

Devils get

Hurricanes get

Tuomo Ruutu (F)

Andrei Loktionov (F)

Fantasy Impact: Owners can hope that Ruutu will be on the ice at the same time as Jagr and remember how to score.

Blue Jackets get

Oilers get

Nick Schultz (D)

5th Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: None.

Stars get

Panthers get

Tim Thomas (G)

Dan Ellis (G)

Fantasy Impact: This hurts for Thomas owners, as he’ll be Lehtonen’s backup now. Luongo winners get more starts. Everyone loses because we don’t get a Luongo/Thomas bromance. On a brighter note, #DanEllisProblems returns to Florida.

Bruins get

Flyers get

Andrej Meszaros

3rd Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy Impact: Meszaros should benefit from playing on a stronger team, but has never had much value in most fantasy formats.

Rangers get

Canucks get

Raphael Diaz (D)

5th Round Pick (2015)

Fantasy Impact: Diaz is another who doesn’t hold a ton of fantasy value, but the Rangers are now 4 deep at Right D.

Avalanche get

Flames get

Reto Berra (G)

2nd Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy impact: This is a head-scratcher. The Avs seem solid in goal with Varlamov and Giguere. Berra shouldn’t be seeing much more NHL ice this season barring injury to one of them.

Red Wings get

Predators get

David Legwand (F)

Patrick Eaves (F)

Calle Jarnkrok (F)

3rd Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy impact: Both the Wings and Legwand owners have to hope his scoring levels will continue at a near career-high pace.

Canadiens get

Islanders get

Thomas Vanek (F)

Sebastien Collberg (F)

5th Round Pick (2014)*

2nd Round Pick (2014)*

*Canadiens must make the playoffs for the picks to change hands.

Fantasy impact: Vanek will certainly help the Canadiens for the rest of this season. His owners should be happy with this trade, especially since the Tavares injury meant less quality around him on Long Island.

Wild get

Sabres get

Matt Moulson (F)

Torrey Mitchell (F)

 Cody McCormick (F)

2nd Round Pick (2014)

 2nd Round Pick (2016)

Fantasy Impact: Again, Moulson owners should be happy that he will have some talent around him. This is another chance for Mitchell.

Capitals get

Sabres get

Jaroslav Halak (G)

Michael Neuvirth (G)

3rd Round Pick (2015)

Rostislav Klesla (D)

Fantasy Impact: Halak has a better team in front of him again, but one that allows a ton of goals. Neuvirth will likely split time with Enroth in Buffalo. Still not great news for Halak owners, nor Neuvirth owners.

Penguins get

Flames get

Lee Stempniak (F)

3rd Round Pick (2014)

Fantasy impact: Stempniak owners should be happy. This helps the Penguins and helps Stempniak score more.
