- NEW in 2024: The draft bracket is being expanded to 8 teams in all 16-team leagues.
- NEW in 2024: The grace period for minors getting called up to the majors and losing minors eligibility will be increased from 0 to 1 day, allowing owners additional time to move players to their active rosters.
- NEW in 2024: There will be a hard cap on the number of minor slots each league expands to; that cap will be 40 players.
- NEW in 2024: If you have a skipped pick – outside of the Minors Eligible Rounds – you will lose that pick. Substitutions are NOT permitted outside of the minors eligible draft.
- Skipped picks happen because owners do not move minors-eligible players to the minors’ roster section.
- If you have a skipped pick, you must fill your roster AFTER the draft via the waiver/bidding system.
- Trade Deadline: 8/11/24
- A CUT DATE/TIME will be posted in each Slack league chat room after the final payment for your league is paid in full. Failure to make the necessary cuts by the CUT DATE/TIME will result in a LOSS HALF of your available FAAB per day.
- A MAX ROSTER CUT DATE/TIME will be posted in the main Slack Baseball chat room. Failure to get your roster at, or under, the MAX ROSTER LIMIT by the posted DATE/TIME will result in a LOSS of HALF YOUR TEAMS AVAILABLE FAAB per day.
- All remaining FAAB money and Free Agent claims will be locked at NOON during the first Monday of the fantasy postseason.
- Any scoring play not reflected in the current rule set will not be added at any point during the season. Potential scoring plays deemed “unusual” or “rare” will be addressed by the DSE Admin team in the offseason and altered, if necessary, the following season. THERE WILL BE NO SCORING CHANGES DURING THE SEASON.

High Stakes H2H Points League Minor League Draft
- Minors Eligibile Draft
- Year 1 Minors Draft is 7 rounds
- Year 2 Minors Draft is 5 rounds
- Year 3+ Minors Draft is 3 rounds
- Players with GREEN ‘M’ (Minors Eligible) are the ONLY players available for the Minors Eligible Draft. Any owner who makes an illegal pick will be given (1) mulligan and allowed to swap the player out. If you time out and the system auto-picks an illegal player, you can re-make your selection at the end of the Minors Eligible Draft. A DSE admin will pause the draft and swap out the player before the free-agent rounds begin.
- Players drafted in the Minor League Draft will accumulate credits for your team after completing the draft. PLEASE NOTE: issuing credit status to players is a manual process done by the league commissioner and, as such, may take some time to complete. A message will be posted in the league chat on Slack when the credits have been updated.
- Once the database is unlocked, players who were previously added to the database during the season will only be available starting each new offseason, Minor League, or Free Agent draft.
- No NEW players will enter the database unannounced or randomly selected by our host site, Fantrax.com.
- Each roster will receive additional Minor League slots yearly to accommodate Minor Eligible Draft selections.
- For startup leagues, the reverse order of the Free Agent draft will be used for the Minor League draft in Year 1 only.
- Said player will earn you a credit toward your following off-season drop total.
- EXAMPLE: Each year, you can keep 25 players IN ADDITION to any credits you have accumulated.
- If you have 2 credit players on your roster at the end of the season, you keep 27 players (25+2=27).
- If you have 8 credit players on your roster at the end of the season, you keep 33 players (25+8=33).
- EXAMPLE: Each year, you can keep 25 players IN ADDITION to any credits you have accumulated.
- Players taken in the Minors-Eligibile draft rounds earn you immediate credits; however, once traded, those players lose that credit until they become a 3-year tenured player for the receiving team.
High Stakes H2H Points League Free Agent Draft
- The free-agent draft order will remain the same for existing leagues throughout the entire draft. Start-up Dynasty Leagues use a serpentine or snake draft for their first year.
- Most Non-Playoff teams will have their position determined by order of finish in the postseason Draft Bracket.
- Draft Order Change: Most teams that do not make the playoffs will play in a consolation bracket to determine the Draft Order for the following season. The team with the worst record gets the 1 seed. The following seeds get the next lowest bracket slot. Reseeding will occur each round until a winner is determined. Refer to the Draft Bracket rules section for the league-by-league outline.
- The free-agent draft clock is 2 hours per pick. It is on from 10 a.m. ET to midnight ET daily until the draft is completed.
- After two (2) consecutive time-out picks, you will be placed on auto-pick
- If you miss a Free Agent draft selection, the system will select based on your queue first, then by ADP for the current season.
- Once your team hits the DRAFT ROSTER CAP (league cap plus 5 additional off-season slots), your draft is OVER! If you trade for additional players and/or picks, you will not be given additional draft slots.

High Stakes H2H Points League Waiver Guidelines
- In all leagues, we use a two-part claiming system
- All waived players are eligible for bidding daily using a Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).
- All waiver claims are processed the next day at 9 AM ET.
- After the 9 AM ET waiver run, all remaining players will be available on a First Come, First Serve (FCFS) basis until each player’s game-time lock. At the start of each player’s respective game, players will be waived and available to bid on for the next day’s waiver run.
- All dropped players will be automatically waived and locked for at least 24 hours to allow everyone in the league to bid on said player. Dropped players will be included in the next 9 AM ET waiver run after their 24-hour lock.
- There is a season-long cap on FCFS claims. Once you have reached this cap, you can no longer claim players via FCFS. The FCFS claims limit begins immediately after the draft ends and ends on the first day of the playoffs.
- All undrafted players will go to waivers for 24 hours after your league’s yearly draft concludes.
- All players will go to waivers at the start of their respective games.
- Waivers run daily at 9 am ET.
- After the 9 am ET waivers, all players will be available FCFS (first come, first serve) until the start of their game that day.
- Any player whose team does not play on any given day will go to waivers at the start of the last game of that day.
- All Free Agent claims will be locked at noon ET during the first Monday of the fantasy postseason.
- The commissioner will reverse any Waiver claim made before the noon ET cut-off that the system processes on Tuesday at 9:00 am ET or Wednesday at 9:00 am ET.
- Teams can drop players during the DSE Postseason but cannot make claims.

High Stakes H2H Points League Minors Eligibility Enforcement
- After a grace period of 1 day, the owner will be prevented from attempting to make all transactions except for moving the player out of the minors slot and dropping any player. Pending claims, such as waiver claims, will not be canceled and processed normally.

- A CUT DATE/TIME will be posted in each Slack league chat room after the final payment for your league is paid in full. Failure to make the necessary cuts by the CUT DATE/TIME will result in a LOSS HALF of your available FAAB per day.

- Once players reach 3+ yrs of continuous service, they will also give you credit towards your CUTS.
- Rosters will expand to accommodate Minor League Picks yearly as CUTS will expand to protect your team’s growth.
- DROPS will only come from your final Regular Season Roster from the previous season.
- Your offseason cannot begin until CUTS and payment has been made.

Fair Play and Conduct
While fantasy sports is usually an extremely competitive endeavor, it is important to remember that enjoyment of the game is predicated on a certain level of sportsmanship displayed by the participants. Occasionally, some team owners intentionally or unknowingly cross the line.
PRIZE-ELIGIBLE & SPORTSMANSHIP RULES
A: More than one team in the same league
One person can’t control more than one team in the same league. If two or more teams in the same league are under the same account, they must be controlled by different people sharing that account, but not sharing the teams. Violation of this will lead to the cancellation of the teams and expulsion from the game.
If an owner finds himself in this situation by accident, he/she should e-mail the League Office immediately and explain the situation.
B: Collusive transactions
Collusion occurs when one team makes moves to benefit another team, without trying to improve its own position. One-sided trades are an obvious example of this. Another example is when a player drop is made so another team can pick up that player. Teams found in violation of this policy will be canceled and their owners prohibited from participating in future Fantasy Games.
C: Impeding other owners
Certain transactions made solely to impede other owners are not allowed. Tanking games for the sole purpose of denying another player’s chance to make the playoffs is against the rules. In particular, cycling through players in free agency to put them on waivers and make them unavailable to other teams in your league is strictly prohibited and is grounds for expulsion from the game.
D: Roster Dumping
Owners that are found to have dumped their players to the player pool in an attempt to undermine the league may be subject to expulsion from the game. If you are giving up on the season, we ask that you maintain league strength by providing the other owners with the most competitive team you are able to field.
E: Owner interaction
Owners should always be polite and gracious when dealing with one another. Threats and obscenities are not only against the Rules, they are illegal in many jurisdictions. Owners that are found to have sent a threatening email to another owner will be warned and/or kicked out of the game completely. This extends to message board posts as well.
F: Offensive posts
Any posts of a derogatory nature are strictly prohibited, whether it is in a chat room, message board, or on a league’s bulletin board. This includes personal attacks and sexist or racist remarks. There will be a zero-tolerance level – if someone in your league is violating this policy, please contact the League Office.
G: Inactivity
In order to maintain the integrity of the league, the commissioner may contact owners of teams that remain inactive for extended periods of time. The commissioner will send a notification to the email of record. Shortly thereafter, if the team remains inactive, the commissioner reserves the right to reassign ownership of the inactive team.
H: Daily Lineups
Deliberately choosing to start incomplete or weak lineups (a.k.a. tanking) is classified as unsportsmanlike and is grounds for removal from a league.
I: Free Agent Moves
Free-agent moves for reasons other than the improvement of the owner’s fantasy team are classified as unsportsmanlike and will be reversed by the league commissioner. Repeated violations of unsportsmanlike free agent moves will result in the owners’ removal from the league.
If an owner refuses to comply with the sportsmanship rules, or that an owner has acted in an unsportsmanlike manner, Dynasty Sports Empire reserves the right to disqualify the owner and/or remove that owner from the league without a refund. All decisions by Dynasty Sports Empire will be final.
REMEMBER:
The game is fun! Creating confrontation in your league inevitably leads to a bad game experience for all involved. Play hard, but play fair!
